The International Youth Day and Social Activist Awards Awards - 2019 organised by the Eastern Youth Organisation, Sri Lanka, was held at the Blue Sand Beach Resort Hall, Addappalam in the Nintavur DS division recently.
It was held under the chairmanship of Eastern Youth Organisation Sri Lanka Chairman and former Youth Parliamentarian Thanees Rahmathullah with Prof. Rohana Luxman Piyadasa as Chief Guest. South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) Faculty of Arts and Culture Dean, Dr.Ramees Aboobakkar, Development Strategies and International Trade Ministry Additional Secretary A.L.M.Saleem and retired Principal and Attorney-at-Law M.C.Athambawa were also present. Around 50 social activists of the community and youth leaders were honoured with momentos during the event.
