6 October, 2019

“We at Built-Mech Services wish to express our sincere appreciation to our loyal customers, suppliers, contractors and above all to our staff for their loyal and dedicated service as we celebrate our 25th anniversary. Our name is interwoven and bonded with all stake holders of the air conditioning industry and need not add a further introduction,” a company official said.

“When our company founded in 1994 with three employees, we could hardly foresee our growth to a super grade company in Sri Lanka with a permanent staff of about 150 in addition to a galaxy of sub contactors excelled in their own disciplines of the trade.

“Satisfied with our performance, Carrier Singapore (Pvt) Ltd. representing United Technologies Co. USA appointed us as a authorised dealer for Carrier in 1995.This was a turning point in our business followed by Hitachi, Dunhambush, Midea, and Toshiba.

“We are delighted to be the main contractor for the Continental Hotel in Colombo 4 (Pearl Grand) which will be opened shortly,” he said.

“Land marks of the projects which have been successfully completed by us include:

Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Linea Aqua, Vietnam, Volvo Show rooms, Orion City, Lanka Hospital (former Appolo), Colombo Hilton, Colombo City Centre – Food studios and cinema, and Airport and Aviation, BIA.

“Our clientele includes MAS Holdings, British Council, Ansell, Ceylon Biscuits, Serendib Leisure, Avery Dennison, Central Finance among others.

“Every business venture is profit oriented but we are little away with this concept, as we believe that customer should get his money’s worth and the worker his toll’s worth and it will be our 25th Anniversary resolution,” he said.
