Ceylon Biscuits Limited (CBL) recently launched the Sun Cracker Salt & Cracked Pepper biscuit under its flagship brand Munchee.

The product was launched following a creative communication campaign titled Kalui Sudui rase meaning the taste of black and white symbolising pepper and salt.

The biscuit is a blend of salt and cracked black pepper making it a delight for the local palates. The cracker is manufactured using locally sourced salt and pepper with no added flavours or colours. Mixed with high quality ingredients, the cracker brings out its freshness, nutritional goodness, light, crispy texture and punchy taste, a company spokesman said.

General Manager, Marketing, Ceylon Biscuits, Janmesh Paul Antony said, “The Munchee crackers are well renowned for creating unique snacking experiences. We are very excited to introduce the new Sun Cracker Salt & Cracked Pepper to our cracker range with its nice mix of salt and pepper. It will appeal to fans who like to try out new taste variations or anyone looking for a tasty snack that is full of goodness.”

As this new biscuit joins the Munchee cracker range, the pioneering brand has successfully offered exciting snacking preferences to suit all its fans. The Munchee super cream cracker which has its much-loved distinct characteristic of ‘Podi Badaginnata Super’ is recognised as an incredible snack which enhances any occasion and is enjoyed by all age groups, he said.
