More opportunities for differently talented children

Opening of a Learning Centre with Individualised Educational Programs (IEP) for Differently Talented Children at the Head Office of The Institute for Research and Expedition of Social Attitudes and Cognitive Tendencies (TIRESACT) was one of the objectives of the Synergy of Heart and Soul Organisation, which is dedicated for the wellbeing of intellectually Disabled children in the country. This project will be declared open on October 10, 2019, in connection with ‘World Children’s Day’ which fell on October 1, The Centre is located at 493/5, Makola North, Makola and has an auditorium, classrooms with audio visual facilities, culinary production facilities and provides many opportunities to follow academic courses for occupational and survival needs for intellectually disabled children.

Those who have been registered with the Colombo Chapter will be enrolled but needs could be the main qualification for entry after screening.

Children are the centre of our partners Rangiri Aqua Group and Stretchtec Group whose CSR activities focus on differently abled children. As per world statistics, well over half a million Sri Lankan children fall under the category of intellectually disabled.

‘The Institute for Research and Expedition of Social Attitudes and Cognitive Tendencies’ is the umbrella organisation which does research and expeditions through many volunteer scholars ‘Synergy of Heart and Soul’ is one of the arms of the above institute, a collective communal endeavour, opens to children from all walks of life, of all ages and races, a reflection of our faith in human and multi-cultural bond, devised to serve the under privileged.
