Top BMW officials visit Prestige Automobile

German auto giant BMW reaffirmed its commitment to the Sri Lankan market and its decades long partnership with Prestige Automobile (Pvt) Ltd (PAPL) – the only authorised importer in Sri Lanka to sell, service and repair BMW and Mini vehicles – with a recent visit by the Managing Director of the BMW Group Asia, Christopher Wehner accompanied by BMW Group Asia Sales Director, Ms. Veronika Hammond, and Sales Channel Development and Customer Management Director, Lee Hwee Siong.

The team was here to broaden their understanding about the Sri Lankan market for BMW.

Managing Director of BMW Group Asia, Christopher Wehner said, “Sri Lanka is a fast-growing market with immense potential. Therefore, we are delighted to continue our successful collaboration with Prestige Automobile to further strengthen the brand’s presence in the country. We are confident the team is well-equipped to deliver an exciting, engaging and enriching brand experience to our customers for years to come.”

Prestige Automobile, Director, Sales and Marketing, Niranga Peiris said, “Prestige Automobile has consistently maintained a ‘Customer Centric’ culture to ensure the precision German machinery of BMW is kept in the best shape, with constant investment into developing service abilities.”

The year 2020 will mark 25 years since Prestige Automobile got behind the wheel. BMW Group Asia will release several special edition cars to the local market to celebrate this milestone and to endorse their enduring partnership with BMW Sri Lanka.

Prestige Automobile is also planning several innovative sales and after sales initiatives to set benchmarks on industry standards.
