Dharmaraja best at Royal hockey Sevens

Dharmaraja College, Kandy won the Royal Sevens annual hockey tournament held at the Royal College ground on October 5 and 6.

The Rajans team beat DS Senanayake 4-0, drew with Sri Sumangala 0-0, beat St. Joseph’s 2-0, beat Vidyaloka, Galle 3-0, beat Royal College 3-2 and beat Ananda College 3-2.

In the semi finals Dharmaraja beat St. Peter’s 3-1 and in the final beat Joseph Vaz Wennappuwa 3-1.

AN Weerasinghe was adjudged the best goal keeper.
