All leading junior squash players were expected to participate in the 30th Junior National Squash Championship which began yesterday at the Air Force Squash Complex in Ratmalana.

Ritzbury has come forward to sponsor this event for the 12th consecutive year with their commitment to promoting and developing squash nationwide.

Recognised as a major event for juniors in the squash calendar, over 400 players are expected to contest.

The events to be worked out are for boys and girls in the under-9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 categories. There will also be a Novices event for under-11, 15 and 19 with the aim of attracting new entrants to the game.
