Renowned author Mohan Raj Madawala’s bestselling novels, Dear Victoria and Loveena have been translated into English by Somasiri Munasinghe, an expatriate journalist currently living in Canada.
The launching of the books will be held at the Misisaga hall in Toronto, Canada, on Saturday November 9, 2019.
The chief guest at the event will be Prof. Swarna Chandrasekara. Sri Lankan writers Chandrarathna Bandara and Shamel Jayakody residing in Canada, will also participate in the event.
A Magician’s Tale the English translation of the short story collection Bodilima by Madawala and translated into English by Maheshi Weerakoon, a former lecturer at the University of Peradeniya, will also be launched at the event.
