LG Electronics is part of the LG Group corporation, a multinational electronics company headquartered in Seoul, South-Korea.

In 2018, LG corporation crossed the USD 147.2 billion mark in global revenue. South Korea, North America and Asia make up the companies’ prime markets, with more than two thirds of its revenue coming from these regions.

LG Electronics has some of the most advance state-of-the-art technology that money can buy, take for example the following products, that no other manufacture in the world can offer at such competitive prices.

The LG InstaView. Knock twice and see what’s inside, imagine knocking on the door to get a glance of what’s inside the refrigerator, you now know the exact location of the product you are looking for inside the refrigerator, thus enabling a very short door open time which in turn, not just saves electricity but also enhances the life of the refrigerator and the products stored within, going a step further the door in door feature lets you store the most frequently stored products within the door.

When it comes to televisions, technology has jumped from cathode ray tubes, plasmas, LCDs and now LEDs. Where LED is the preferred choice for most manufacturers, LG once again takes a leap ahead and provides the world with the organic light-emitting diode (OLED or Organic LED) in its televisions. The OLED has a heap of advantages for the consumer, let us look at a few of these in brief.

The light-emitting layers of an OLED are lighter, since OLED can be plastic rather than the glass used for LEDs and LCDs also brighter than LEDs. since the layers of an OLED are thinner than the inorganic LEDs.

In Sri Lanka, LG is brought to you exclusively by Abans.
