Dimuth and Grandhomme win Yamaha motorcycles

Yamaha sponsored the recent Test and Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket series, played between Sri Lanka and New Zealand, under the tagline ‘Powered by Yamaha’. The Most Powerful Player of these two series won a ‘Yamaha FZ v3’ motorcycle each.

Sri Lanka captain Dimuth Karunaratne, who scored a total of 247 runs, won the prize in the Test series while New Zealand’s Colin Grandhomme won the ‘Yamaha FZ v3’ for being the Most Powerful Player of the T20Is. Yohann De Zoysa, Director, Passenger Vehicles, Associated Motorways Pvt. Ltd. (AMW), Ohno Izumi, Senior General Manager, Yamaha Motor Company, Zahran Ziyawudeen, Deputy General Manager, Yamaha – AMW, and Fushimi Sho, joined at the awarding ceremony at the end of the Test series. The prize for Grandhomme was given away by Brandon Morris, Group Managing Director, AMW, Yohann De Zoysa, Director, Passenger Vehicles, AMW, and Zahran Ziyawudeen.

The Associated Motorways Pvt. Ltd. is the authorised distributor in the island for ‘Yamaha FZ’ and ‘Yamaha FZ v3’ motorcycles.
