P. Krishnasamy and Ananthi Balasingham receiving their awards
Two Lake House journalists, P.Krishnasamy- formerly of the Sunday Observer and Ananthi Balasingham - former Deputy Editor of Thinakaran were honoured for their lifetime contribution to journalism in the country at the 64th anniversary celebrations of the Sri Lanka Press Association (SLPA), held at the Sri Lanka Press Institute recently.
Other veteran media figures who were honoured by this award were Edmond Ranasinghe, Elmo Gunrathna, P.M. Senaratne Perea, Ariyaratne Ganegoda, Karuna Perera and Bruce Morris.
