Monsoon | Sunday Observer

The monsoon arrived
With the heavy downpour
The rivers overflow
Huge trees twist and turn
To the rhythm of wind blow
In the marshy ponds,
Settled on lotus leaves,
Croak, croak
The frogs croak
Leaping from leaf to leaf
some little fish halt a while
on their way to prey
others rally round them
waving their colorful fins,
cheering the frogs,
Red fins green fins blue fins
They croak,” Your vote…your vote.’
From dawn to dusk
Till the monsoon is over
How funny!
