SLAAPS gifts spectacles

The Sri Lanka Association of Administrative and Professional Secretaries (SLAAPS) has been conducting annual CSR Projects to enhance the quality of lives of the less fortunate people of the society. The Association has gifted nearly 500 spectacles in the last 10 years since 2009, mainly with the objective of granting the gift of sight by restoring the vision of individuals who lack any form of support system. Free eye check-ups and consultation by a renowned Optometrist were provided to the recipients and free spectacles were given to them. This year, this worthy cause received the gracious sponsorship of Ahamed Ali Ibrahim Al Mualla, the Ambassador for United Arab Emirates in Sri Lanka. Ambassador also handed over the spectacles to the recipients.

The Association engages in CSR initiatives that add value to the lives of less fortunate people, on a regular basis.
