SLIC teams up with FriMi

Sri Lanka Insurance has partnered with FriMi to provide a convenient premium paying facility for customers through the SLIC mobile app.

FriMi, one of Sri Lanka’s first digital banks, is the first payment partner to be on board with SLIC mobile app and FriMi provides real-time, secure and convenient insurance premium payments for SLIC policy holders, a company spokesman said.

This partnership will allow any SLIC policyholders who own a FriMi account to make payments quickly, digitally and at their convenience via the SLIC mobile applications available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Chief Executive Officer at SLIC, Chandana L. Aluthgama said, “A key strategic move at SLIC has been the decision to embrace technology by introducing new and innovative solutions to enhance efficiencies, productivity and market reach. These strategies to bring our business closer to the customer will also add value to different stakeholders, including our business partners such as our advisors, while allowing SLIC to capitalize on diverse business opportunities, including new growth opportunities. Today we are taking a leap forward partnering with FriMi.”
