Books are always our friends. We read books to improve our knowledge. Books give us important facts and figures. Most children like to read Sinhala language books. But the books in other languages are useful for our school studies.
Books are available in different forms, such as novels, short stories, fairy tales and on different subjects. Some read books for their pleasure. 'Reading makes a full man’, is a great saying. Reading helps us improve our vocabulary too. We must read books as much as we can.
