‘We are one’, an art exhibition by the students of Elizabeth Moir Senior School took place recently at the Lionel Wendt Art Gallery in Colombo 7. The Chief Guest at the Exhibition was CEO of Academy of Design (AOD) Sri Lanka Prof. Robert Meeder. Prof. Meeder also judged the school’s Inter-house art competition that took place alongside the exhibition.
Malaak Hashim won Best Individual Artist in the Senior category, with Ameli Vidanearachchi and Kasuni De Silva taking 2nd and 3rd place.
In the Intermediate category Umaama Hussain emerged the winner with Anna Shearer and Uma Sandrasagra in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Armstrong won Best Overall House, having also won the Best Interpretation of Topic accolade, followed by Columbus in 2nd place, Fleming in 3rd and Hillary in 4th .
