Unbeaten MAS Silueta and HNB were declared joint champions of the third Unilever Fair & Lovely Men MCA ‘B’ division 50-over League tournament yesterday.
The match ended in a no-result due to bad light at the MCA ground and was reduced to 23 overs per side.
Sent in to bat first, MAS Slueta scored 154 for 3 in 16 overs with Shehan Fernando scoring an unbeaten 101 runs off 46 deliveries and included 11 sixes and three fours.
Dushan Hemantha of MAS Silueta (12 wickets for 169 runs) was adjudged player of the tournament.
