The UK has been identified as one of the markets in Europe with a huge potential for the Sri Lanka Wellness Tourism sector.

The EDB is giving a prominent place to the Sri Lankan Wellness Tourism sector to earn more foreign exchange.

The EDB along with the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs plans to organise similar programs in other countries to explore business opportunities for the Sri Lankan wellness tourism sector.
