Insee Cement to pass tax benefit to customers

Insee Cement Sri Lanka (Siam City Cement (Lanka) Ltd) has passed on the recent tax reduction benefits to customers.

Following the recent announcement by the Government to provide tax concessions to improve the cost of living of the public, Insee Cement decided to pass on the benefit of removal of the NBT and reduction of VAT to its customers by reducing the price of cement accordingly. This has been effective since December 1. Any new guidelines issued by the CAA (Consumer Affairs Authority) with regards to the revised MRP (Maximum Retail Price) will be immediately adhered to.
