Spiders

8 December, 2019

Spiders are air-breathing arthropods. They have eight legs and chelicerae with fangs that inject venom. Spiders eat pests and feed on common indoor pests, such as cockroaches, earwigs, mosquitoes, flies and clothes moths. Spiders hate the smell of anything citrus, such as lemons, oranges and grapefruits.

As of November 2015, at least 45,700 spider species and 113 families have been recorded by taxonomists.
