A clean up campaign by the Colombo Municipal Council was carried out in Colombo North yesterday, as a part of the program launched last month to ensure a cleaner Sri Lanka. The CMC decided to carry out this campaign following the heavy rains which left much of Colombo North inundated due to the clogging of the outdated drainage system.
