The High Commission of India, Colombo, invites applications for:
Undergraduate Scholarships for courses in Performing and Visual Arts
1. Applications are invited from Sri Lankan students for award of Undergraduate Scholarships for Performing Arts and Visual Arts (Classical Music, Classical Dance and Painting) in renowned Universities and institutions/Gurukuls of India. The scholarships are administered by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.
2. ICCR Scholarship scheme provides scholarship for one year which can be extended up to three years after reviewing the results.
3. Eligibility Criteria -Applicants should:
i. Be between the age of 18 and 30 years
ii. Have a minimum of three passes in GCE Advanced Level, including “B” pass in the subject applied (for e.g. Dance, Music or Art).
iii. Have at least a simple pass in English language in the GCE Ordinary Level Advanced Level.
4. The application forms along with guidelines can be collected from any of the following Offices:

5. Interested candidates can submit the filled-in application forms at any one of the above offices. At Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Colombo, the filled in application forms can be submitted between December 12 and 13, 2019, from 10 am to 4.30 pm.
