‘Huawei achieves record sales for new watch’

Huawei launched its novel Watch GT2 recently.Country Head, Huawei Devices Sri Lanka, Peter Liu said, “We are extremely proud of the global feedback that we have received for the Huawei Watch GT 2. The superior performance, exquisite design and enhanced abilities of Huawei’s new smart watch contributed to this global recognition and we are extremely grateful to our consumers and assure to further develop our technologies to provide you with better experience through Huawei devices.”

With its great battery life, intelligent processing and artistic design. Global shipment was recorded at one million units within 45 days of the launch, a company official said.

The Bluetooth Calling feature provided by the Huawei Watch GT 2 allows the user to make or receive calls during sports or other instances where the user is occupied.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 offers Bluetooth 5.1, including built-in GPS, supporting GPS and GLONASS satellite positioning systems by which it provides a more accurate and faster positioning services to hold around 500 songs.

The Watch GT 2 is powered by Huawei’s home-grown Kirin A1 chipset, which includes intelligent power-saving technology, being renowned for exploring the limits of smart watch battery life. The watch comes preinstalled with over 15 running courses and offers voice guidance during workouts

. These courses help users with different running goals. The Huawei Watch GT 2 will soon be available in Sri Lanka. The Huawei FreeBuds 3, intelligent noise-cancellation wireless headset, along with the Huawei Band 4/4E is also due to be launched in the near future.
