Leader of the House and Chief Government Whip Assumes Duties

Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and Minister Johnston Fernando on Friday assumed duties as the Leader of the House and the Chief Government Whip respectively at the Parliamentary complex. Minister Dinesh Gunawardena was warmly welcomed by the Parliamentary staff, at the office of the Leader of the House when he assumed his duties as Leader of the House. Minister Johnston Fernando, was warmly welcomed by the Parliamentary staff, at the office of the Chief Government Whip when he assumed duties as the Chief Government Whip. Government Ministers, Members of Parliament, Government officials and Members of Parliament staff were present on the occasion.
