As King Arthur

12 January, 2020

As King Arthur, you were King, Richard;
You moved one so,
Your voice a gentle melody which lulled one in Camelot. You made giant strides,
Your face and voice, endearingly familiar
to a Nation of changing values.
Whilst you, yet steadfast
strode gallant through the mire.
Wielding pen, dissecting with rigid precision
fact from fiction, sincerity from hypocrisy,
Till a weapon mightier stilled you.
Now one with the Fallen Youth
your cries echo, yet unheard by, many
A burning plea for truth.
