VASA VARNA (Living Colours) is an exhibition of paintings by Priyantha Weerasooria at the Paradise Road Galleries, No 2, Alfred House Road, Colombo 3. Weerasooria holds a Diploma in Fine Arts from Central St. Martin’s, London and works mainly with mixed medioum on rice paper. His subject is Prince Siddhartha and in his portraits Weeasooria makes a statement against the traditional depiction of the noble prince.
The artist has several local and international exhibitions to his credit.
