The contempt of court action filed against Convener of National Movement for Social Justice (NMSJ) Prof.Sarath Wijesuriya was today fixed for February 17 for objections by Court of Appeal.
Court of Appeal two-judge-bench comprising Justice Kumuduni Wickremasinghe and Justice Priyantha Fernando directed the respondent Wijesuriya to file objections against the contempt of court action before next mentioned date.
At a previous occasion Court of Appeal had issued summons on Prof. Wijesuriya regarding a contempt of court action filed by Attorney-at-law Sampath Vijitha Kumara and retired Army Officer Anil Wasantha Alwis.
