When Santa was with Synergy Heart & Soul

19 January, 2020

December 20, 2019 was a remarkable day for all the members of Synergy of Heart & Soul who gathered at the Head Office of ‘Senahase Navathena’ (Resting place of affection). There was three reasons to celebrate as Santa came early to rejoice with our 'differently able' friends in the society, launching of the Gampaha District Chapter with 19 members who were welcomed by 48 members of the Colombo District Chapter, and the opening of the Auditorium for the building which is the centre of all Synergy of Heart & Soul activities in the Island. The colourful celebration was highlighted with the concert of differently able children who enjoyed the day singing and dancing. Hours of fun was climaxed with the arrival of Santa Claus with his sack full of goodies for every child whether able or differently able.

The chief guest, an international gold medallist for Wushu and Gymnastics, also and an advisor to the Ministry of Sports, Eshan Dhammika Abeyratne inaugurated the Auditorium by cutting the ribbon.
