Kandy SC set to pile on the points over CH today

2 February, 2020

Table leaders and defending champs Kandy Sports Club will face seventh placed CH and FC today at Nittawela in the second leg of their inter club league rugby match after beating them 31-13 in the first round in Colombo.

Taking their performances into account Kandy SC are the clear favourites to win the League this season as well which means that CH could be in for another drubbing today.

Every rugby fan knows that Kandy SC are physically superior and have a strong set piece and talented back division to deliver that other teams have been unable to match. They look unstoppable and have stayed in touch, with a set of rock solid players who responded well with some good handling of the ball and strong in every department of the game that should keep the scoreboard ticking along.

They are also a team with a massive forwards effort able to score tries with some great finishing on the wings and that is how Kandy SC likes to play.

Kandy SC are perhaps the only team that is now the talk of the town giving some meaning to the league which if not would have been a drab and boring show for rugby fans.
