Guru Tharuva

A dark cloud has come down
From a direction unknown,
Darkening the ever-bright stage
Which was the home of a sage,
Yes, you were a sage, dear Mano
Divers human nature, you did know,
Gained knowledge from the meaningful past
Your foresight in the future many couldn’t surpass,
Your skills, your talents with modified application
Opened doors to optimistic views of the nation,
Appreciation, sarcasm, criticism and satire
Were your tools blended with rhythm and attire,
Your dedicated followers grieve with audience
Our wish is to re-hear that endless applause.
