The young lads of the CCC School of Cricket in their first ever tour to the UAE played eight matches and won four playing with both white and pink balls.
Chamal Athale was adjudged as the Most Promising Cricketer while Travin Nishantha bagged the award for the Best Batsman.
The Best Bowler was Chamath Pathirana while Vidun Weeraddana was adjudged the Best All-rounder.
The team was made up of Disal Fernando (Captain), Vidun Weeraddana, Travin Nishanthan, Sunera Perera, Cainan Anthonyz, Chamath Pathirana, Raaed Carrim, Viknesh Ravichandran, Kiran Perera, Thinuda Wettasinghe, Chanul Athale, Yoshada Alwis, Nidukshan Perera, Leshan Nanayakkara and coach Manoj Millawithanarachchi . The CCC School of Cricket is one of the leading cricket academies in the country that has produced several first class players who have gone on to play for clubs in the domestic season.
