Debut makers Mode Engineering created a major upset when they eliminated the Group B winners Ansell Lanka by four wickets to book a place in the semi-finals in the first CBL-Munchee Trophy MCA ‘D’ division, 40-over League continued last weekend.
The two heroes for Mode Engineering were centurion R. Chandramohan (123 in 97 balls, inclusive of eight sixes and 10 fours) and Geegana Gamage (65 in 56 balls with two sixes and eight fours)
