GroupM’s chief strategist, jury member at Effies Asia Pacific

Director, Strategy of GroupM Sri Lanka, Bakmee Perera has been chosen as a jury member of the marketing effectiveness forum ‘Effie’s APAC Awards 2020’.

She is the only Jury member to represent the panel from Sri Lanka in 2020. Her first stint was in 2018.

Perera who leads the data, insights, and media strategy efforts at GroupM, has over 12 years of experience in advertising and media, and has worked across a multifaceted brand portfolio.

“Being part of a team consisting of leading professionals from the marketing fraternity from across the APAC region is indeed a huge honour,” she said.
