Rowing Nationals from February 19

The Rowing Nationals will be held at the Diyawanna Oya in Battaramulla from February 19 to 22.

Approximately 300 of the best athletes engaged in the sport in Sri Lanka from 20 institutions have shown interest to contest the event. Events will be held in the Under-14, Under-16, Under-18, Intermediate and Open categories. The Intermediate category primarily includes the University Of Colombo and University of Moratuwa and a few schools also among the competitions. The Open division is a keenly fought among the Army, Air Force and Navy along with the Kothalawela Defence University.The Open category is the ultimate championship for seniors.
