One person was killed and over 40 others were injured in a collision between a private bus collided with another private bus, along the Dambulla - Matale road on the A-9 road near Matale.
Police said that the victims were injured and rushed to Naula, Dambulla and Matale hospitals and the critically injured victims have been transferred to the Matale District General Hosptial.
Naula Police is conducting further investigations.
