World Unani Medical Day 2020 was celebrated by the Sri Lanka Unani Medical Association (SLUMA) at Hotel Green Villa in Oluvil recently.
The ceremony was presided over by SLUMA founder Dr. Aslam K. Meera while Eastern Province Health, Indigenous Medicine, Probation and Childcare, Social Welfare and Rural Electrification Ministry Secretary A.H.M.Ansar was the Chief Guest. Eastern Province Director, Health Services Dr.A.L.Alawdeen was Guest of Honour.
Colombo University Faculty of Unani Medicine Senior Lecturers Doctors A.H.M.Mawjood, Abdeen Sirajudeen and Nintavur Government Ayurvedic Research (NCD) Hospital Director Dr.K.L.M.Nagfer were among the invitees.
