Senuki Nithaya and Ruhini Rovinya both of Kegalu Balika Vidyalaya clinched a double in the girls’ category at the Sabaragamuwa Province Novices, Intermediate and Age group Table Tennis Championship 2020 held at the Swarnajayanthi Maha Vidyalaya Kegalle on February 22 and 23.
Nithaya won the under-10 and 12 Singles events while Rovinya won the under-18 and Novices Singles event respectively.
Kegalle Zahira Vidyalaya Organized this tournament for the first time and no application fees were charged from the players.
SM Kuraisha the Principal of Kegalle Zahira Vidyalaya was the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
