My country is Sri Lanka. It is an island. It is called the ‘Pearl of the Indian Ocean’. It has a warm and wet climate. It is situated close to the equator. The longest river is the Mahaweli. There are nine provinces in Sri Lanka. The main crops are tea, rubber and coconut.
