Fraudsters found collecting money for COVID-19

The Presidential Secretariat has received information on fraudsters collecting money for the COVID-19 Health Care and Social Security Fund and public are requested to report such misdeeds to the nearest Police Station.

The Secretary to the President requests from public general only to make contributions to the Fund through direct bank deposits, cheques or telegraphic transfers and not to donate any other organizations or individuals.

For deposits, an account has been opened at Bank of Ceylon under the account number of 85737373 and it has reached Rs. 314.5 millions by yesterday (02).
