Within 24-hour period between 6am yesterday till today 6am the police had arrested 1493 persons who had violated the curfew orders.
Since the curfew was imposed from 20th of March to 6.00 pm today (04 April) the police have arrested 12,223 persons who had violated the curfew regulations. The police had also taken into their custody 3017 vehicles during this period.
