Within 24-hour period between 6am yesterday till today 6am the police had arrested 1,815 persons who had violated the curfew orders. The police had also taken into their custody 595 vehicles.
Since the curfew was imposed from 20th of March to 6.00 pm today (08 April) the police have arrested 17,717 persons who had violated the curfew regulations and 4,586 vehicles had also been taken into custody.
