The new Buddhist shrine, Ranweta and several other facilities at the Uppalawanna Bhikkhuni monastery, Mahapitayawatte, Pothuhera, constructed under the patronage of chief incumbent of the monastary Bhikkhuni Uppalawanna and well-known Buddhist worker Janaka C. Senadhipathy will be unveiled at 10.10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, followed by a dana to the Maha Sangha and chanting of the Rathana Sutra to invoke blessings on the country, President, government, triforces and health and police personnel.
