The Planetarium that was closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic will re-open on July 7, Government Information Department sources said.
Sri Lanka Planetariums Director of the Ministry of Higher Education, Technology and Innovations K. Arunu Prabha Perera said arrangements were made in line with the regulations by health authorities to restart planetarium shows from July 7. He said the screenings will continue with a limited number of participants in compliance with social distancing guidelines.
Screenings at the Planetarium came to a halt following the Covid-19 outbreak in Sri Lanka.
