President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will visit Polonnaruwa today to join the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) election campaign to ensure the victory of SLPP candidates contesting the General Election.
The President will attend 11 public gatherings in the district organised by former President Maithripala Sirisena, Roshan Ranasinghe, Siripala Gamlath, Jayasinghe Banda, Jagath Samarawickrama, Amarakeerthi Athukorala and G. G. Chandrasena.
The President will attend four meetings organised by former State Minister Roshan Ranasinghe at Dimbulagala Playground, Polonnaruwa, Bandiwewa, Lankapura-Pulathisigama Cooperative Guest House and Lankapura-Thabala Junction. He will also participate in two public gatherings organised by former President Sirisena at Deepa Uyana, Polonnaruwa and former Parliamentarian Siripala Gamlath at Deer Park Hotel premises, Girithale.
