A fundamental rights petition was filed on behalf of Bathiudeen Mohamed Riyaj,the brother of Former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen challenging his arrest and detention in connection with the Easter Sunday bomb blasts was today fixed for July 31 by Supreme Court.
When the petition came up before Supreme Court two-judge-bench comprising Justice Priyantha Jayawardena and Justice Yasantha Kodagoda, the court was informed that the Attorney General has filed limited objections against the petition.
