Advanced Printing Technologies (APT) launched the latest digital press, the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C83hc at the Waters Edge Hotel recently.
The Accurio Press C83hc, with its high chroma toner, covering an extended colour gamut, takes print capabilities and print efficiencies to the next level with the ability to reproduce images that are difficult to achieve with standard CMYK toner like bright purples and vibrant greens. Konica Minolta appointed Advanced Printing Technologies as their value-added partner in Sri Lanka for high-end printing machines recently.
Awards were presented to clients who closed deals at the launch.
Country Head of Sri Lanka, Konica Minolta, Francis Chua said the industry needs to think creatively for short and longer-term solutions for its future. The industry has to tackle by developing higher value-added print applications which link to online resources. He also said that this new technology will help to expand the product offerings in their relevant markets.
Managing Director of Advanced Printing Technologies, Udaya Hettiarachchi said, “We have introduced the Game Changing - Konica Minolta AccurioPress C83hc which will revolutionise Sri Lanka’s photo album printing and short run label and packaging industry.”
The new technology is more cost effective than the existing technologies available for photo album printing which will shorten the ROI period and give more flexibility for colour lab owners. This new technology will enhance the profitability of label and packaging, he said.
