Zhao Liang emerged winner of the Pin Fernando Trophy 2020 while Kaya Daluwatte won the Pam Fernando Trophy at the two golf tournaments at the Ridgeways from July 21.
The Pin Fernando Trophy tournament was inaugurated during the centenary year to honour Sri Lanka’s greatest amateur golfer while the Pam Fernando Trophy was inaugurated in 2014 in honour of Sri Lanka’s best known women golfer. Both these tournaments were played to a match play format over four days.Zhao beat WAK Fernando on the 21st hole in the final to display his superiority in the game and also won the best nett score event in the B division with a nett score of 65.
