Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. The actor died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. It’s been more than a month since Sushant left for his heavenly abode but his amazing body of work is still remembered by everyone.

Post his untimely demise, people have started watching his films which didn’t work at the box office earlier. His films like Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, Sonchiriya and others were highly acclaimed by the critics but still  they failed to perform well at the box office.

Now, Sushant’s co-star Swastika Mukherjee has slammed ‘thousands of people’ who are watching their film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy now. She took to the Twitter handle and expressed her thoughts on the same. Her tweet read, “Thousands and literally thousands of people are watching #DetectiveByomkesh Bakshy now. NOW is the word that’s most important. Where were all of them when the film was released I wonder?! Regret is better and bigger than gratitude.”

One of the users wrote, “If they would have watched then may be this could become a franchise.” On this, Swastika replied, “Yes I believed about the Franchise then. But no one watched and it never happened.”

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police is currently investigating Sushant’s death case. Rhea Chakraborty, Mahesh Bhatt, Sanjana Sanghi, Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mukesh Chhabra and others have already recorded their official statements. Reports suggest that Karan Johar will also soon be questioned in Sushant’s death case.
