Three suspects allegedly distributing drugs in Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Ratmalana and Moratuwa under the guise of running a communication centre were arrested along with a stock of drugs worth Rs. 800,000, Mt. Lavinia Police said.
The mastermind of this drug trafficking ring had operated from abroad, investigations have revealed. The suspects aged between 38-40 are residents of Ratmalana, police said.
Fifty grams of heroin, two grams of Ice and 12 kilos of Mao were seized.
Mt. Lavinia police are investigating.
