Water supply to certain areas in Colombo will be either be low or interrupted between 8:00p.m. today and 5:00a.m. tomorrow, due to renovation work under the Greater Colombo Water and Wastewater Improvement Investment Programme, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) stated.
The areas that will be affected by this are Colombo 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.
Accordingly, Colombo 13, 14, and 15 will experience total interruption of water supply, while Colombo 11 and 12 will have a low-pressure supply.
The NWSDB has requested the public to call the hotline ‘1939’ for further information.
